5280 Golf Classic - Saturday, July 17th, 2010 On Saturday, July 17th, 2010, the 5280 Golf Classic will be hosted by 5280golf.com and Vista TV Denver (cable channel 19) at Fossil Trace Golf Club in Golden, CO. The purpose of this event is to raise money for local charities.
Over the past 8 years we have been having this tournament as a social event. This year we’re making this a charitable event to assist the likes of Judi’s House, Children’s Hospital, Denver Dumb Friends League and The Raymond Wentz Cancer Foundation. We feel we’re at the point where we can generate significant charitable donations in effort to support local foundations. We look forward to the project in front of us and are proud of our continued commitment to tomorrow’s future.
All participants in this year’s tournament will enjoy 18 holes of golf at one of the premier championship courses in the Rockies (Fossil Trace Golf Club is designed by James Engh), a first class player gift package, breakfast, beverages on the course and lunch. There are great prizes for first, second and third place, closest to the hole, longest drive, longest putt made and hole in one.
